Education Pathways for Rangatahi
Our Rangatahi Navigator offers support/advice to Maori learners and their whanau so that our rangatahi:
- Can stay connected on a learning pathway,
- Are aware of the range and scale of education and wellbeing services that are available to them (including skills training and employment pathways) and know how to access them
- And can access education and wellbeing support
Our Rangatahi Navigator…….
- Will organize an initial meeting for whakawhanaungatanga to take place;
- This is where we get to know each other and then you can decide if you would like to work with us
- We can meet with you at a place where you feel comfortable;
- In your home
- At your school
- At our Runanga premises
- This service is for;
- Rangatahi who are enrolled in Years 9 – 13, and would normally attend any of the kura located in the Rotorua Lakes District
