In collaboration with ACC the University of Auckland and Te Arawa Whanau Ora, we have embarked on a research project to help keep our koeke well by reducing and/or preventing injuries and by providing proactive care.
We can offer support and advice to koeke;
- Aged 50 years and over
- Are eligible to receive ACC, or currently an ACC client
- Who live in the Rotorua Lakes District area
We can organize an initial meeting with you;
- This is where we get to know each other and then you can decide if you would like to work with us
- We can visit you in your home
Some of the things that we can help you with include;
- Kainga safety checks to help reduce injury in your home
- Strength and mobility exercises
- Home wellness visits
- Help you access ACC if you are eligible
- Transport to health appointments
- Link you with other health services
